Storytelling is the most ancient, yet powerful way students learn. In many cases, storytelling can literally, save lives. Let us see how.

They can be in kindergarten, or in High school, or even university. Even me, as a teacher, I learn a lot when listening or reading a good story.

Stories were used during prehistoric times, when language was just invented. The stories, at that time, were meant to educate the humans of that time.

Yes! Educate them to the dangers of the surroundings of the cavemen, to know how to forage crops, how to hunt animals, what plants to avoid, because they are poisonous, what food to eat when sick or injured. All these things are just a few examples of how stories where used as an educational tool.

In our days, stories can tell and convey so many messages, concepts, ideas, values. They can educate our younger generations, just like the cavemen, to beware of the dangers in our modern environment. Stories can talk about friendship, teamwork, hygiene, health care, self control and even help them better use IT tools.

To sum up, stories will help young learners, and older ones too, to be the best versions of themselves and be able to thrive and tell stories to the next generation. In this sense, through stories, we can maintain prosperity of the human race.
